Who we are
Emergent Voice is a branding and messaging studio run by Rachel Browne, registered in the United States and working with wellness professionals. You can reach us anytime at info@emergent-voice.com.
What we collect
• When you sign up for the Living Wisdom Journal or the Monthly Muse, or use a form on this site: your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it.
• When you browse the site: the pages you visit, your general area (country or city), and device and browser information, collected automatically through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
• To send you what you asked for, like the journal download and occasional letters from Emergent Voice.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• To measure whether our ads reach the right people.
We never sell or rent subscriber details to anyone.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses these tools that automatically collect information about visits:
• Squarespace analytics, built into the platform that hosts this site, which records visits and activity data.
• Google Analytics (Google), which helps us understand how visitors use the site.
• The Meta Pixel (Meta), which helps us measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Depending on the tool, the information collected can include your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and actions taken on the site.
Who processes your information
We use a small set of trusted services to run the site and our emails:
• Squarespace hosts this website.
• Mailchimp stores subscriber details and sends our emails.
• Zapier passes signup details from the website to Mailchimp.
• Google Analytics helps us understand site usage.
• The Meta (Facebook) Pixel helps us measure our advertising.
• Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the Living Wisdom Journal signup form from spam and automated abuse. When you submit the form, Turnstile runs a background security check.
Their own policies: Squarespace (https://www.squarespace.com/privacy), Mailchimp (https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/), Zapier (https://zapier.com/privacy), Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy), Meta (https://www.facebook.com/policy.php), and the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum (https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/).
These services are based in the United States, so your information may be processed outside your country.
Your choices
• Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
• You can control cookies through your browser settings.
• Questions or requests about your information: info@emergent-voice.com.
How long we keep it
When you unsubscribe, we stop sending you marketing emails. Our email service keeps a record of your unsubscribe so we can honor it.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time: email info@emergent-voice.com and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of sending or storing data is completely secure.
